Rod David calls 'Stumps' as LT Captain!

Rod David, Lord's Taverners playing Captain for several years has announced his retirement from the role. The WA Members are grateful for the contribution Rod has made to Lord's Taverners WA while balancing attention to his own business, making himself available for his club side Claremont-Nedlands CC and chasing players to turn out midweek for Taverners.
Here is Rod as LT Captain shaking hands with the LT Patron during his last game for Taverners.

The role has been made increasingly difficult over the last decade as the number of games against school sides has diminished due to their own full schedule and is exacerbated by the reduced availability of men able to take time off midweek in an inreasingly accountable business environment.
Here are Rod and Mike celebrating Taverner's first and only victoryin 4 matches against the Governors XI.
