Darcy Short was this week named the Lord's Taverners Indigenous Cricketer of the Year at the State Cricket Awards in Hobart.
Short, 21, is originally from the Northern Territory but made the move to Western Australia to take up an opportunity to play with Gosnells CC in the WACA competition.
